CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Kung Fu Multi-faceted dynamic workout combined with effective self-defense. Develop yourself internally (Chi) and externally. Kick, punch, block, learn Nabi Su (Butterfly Hand), Shaolin Five Animals, Hung Gar, and other forms. Interact using Shadow Hands, Sticking Hands, and sparring. Gain confidence and skill.
Tai Chi Chuan Gentle, graceful, inspiring exercise. Tai Chi is meditation in motion, the peaceful martial art. Proven benefits to balance, circulation, breathing, posture, overall strength, sense of well-being. Learn Yang style Long Form, Pushing Hands, Two-person Form, Double-edged Sword, Saber.
Zen Meditation (Zazen) Sitting practice, lotus (cross-legged), or seiza (kneeling) on cushions, deep breathing, inward concentration, focused energy.
Weapons Escrima sticks, sai, bo, spear, saber, double-edged sword, butterfly knives, fan, jo, long and short swords. Training exclusively for Nabi Su Kung Fu and Tai Chi students.
Self Defense 1 ½ hour basic sessions. Self protection tactics and hands-on training. Practical application of simple, natural movements. Defensive exercises in safe intereaction with trained martial artists. Arrange for your group or business, in our school or at your site.
